MINIATURE IVORY PAINTING

Painted recently on antique ivory with watercolor. Its only 2 inches x 3.25 inches. I'm goilg to put ina custom frame soon and I'll add picks of that too!

Jan and Russ Commission

A recent commission on Bristol board. Painted in watercolor and sized larger (9"x7") than what I usually do, but fun all the same. The client wanted to have her and her husband and their two cats in their favorite truck as if they were on trip.

IVORY MINIATURE PAINTING

Miniature painting I created using mammoth ivory as the surface and painted with watercolors. I framed it in an vintage frame that painted and in bedded with pearls. I call this one Joan of Arc, because she is strong and fierce with a wing to remind you that she is also angelic and feminine.

Floating To the End

This is an image I did for my sister. The idea behind it is that this women has died and is floating down a river to death as. The irises are representative of death rather than a hooded figure. The flowers are a harbinger of death. She is dropping them in the river as she approaches the end of the river. I wanted it to be sad and yet peacful, because death all comes to us and hopefully we can all aproach it with grace.
